In a conversation with reporters at his residence on Saturday night, CM Yogi announced that he would contest the assembly elections and said that the last time the BJP had entered the election field on the issue of the failures of the SP government. On the question asked by SP President Akhilesh Yadav about the announcement of 300 units of free electricity and free electricity for irrigation to farmers after the formation of the government, CM Yogi said that during the SP regime, only four districts got electricity in 75.
