बांदा। जनपद में सड़क दुर्घटनाओं में हो रही लगातार मौतों पर रोक लगाने और लोगों को हेल्मेट पहनने के प्रति जागरूक करने के लिए प्रशासन ने बड़ा कदम उठाया है। परिवहन आयुक्त, उत्तर प्रदेश के निर्देश पर 1 सितम्बर से 30 सितम्बर तक “नो हेल्मेट-नो फ्यूल” विशेष अभियान चलेगा। इस दौरान जिले के किसी भी पेट्रोल पंप से बिना हेल्मेट वाले दोपहिया वाहन चालक और सवारी को पेट्रोल नहीं मिलेगा।
डीएम जे.रीभा और परिवहन विभाग ने जिले के सभी पेट्रोल पंप संचालकों को स्पष्ट निर्देश दिए हैं कि वे पंप प्रांगण में ‘नो हेल्मेट-नो पेट्रोल की होर्डिंग लगाएँ। किसी भी हालत में बिना हेल्मेट आने वाले को पेट्रोल न दिया जाए। प्रशासन का मानना है कि यह अभियान लोगों को मजबूर करेगा कि वे सड़क पर निकलते वक्त हेल्मेट पहनें।
