बांदा। जिला बीमारियों की जमकर चपेट में है। इसमें “डेंगू का कहर छौंका” लगा रहा है। “डेंगू जमकर बालिंग कर रहा है। उसने कई की जिंदगी बोल्ड कर उन्हें पैवेलियन में भेज” दिया है। इसका कोप थमने का नाम नहीं ले रहा है।
जिले में वायरल एवं डेंगू बुखार के अलावा सर्दी, जुकाम, खांसी भी लोगों का पीछा नहीं छोड़ रही है। स्वास्थ्य विभाग इन परस्थितियों को संभाल नहीं पा रहा है। संभावित डेंगू से पीड़ित रोजाना जिला अस्पताल में भर्ती हों रहें हैं। वहीं बुखार से पीड़ित करीब एक सैकड़ा लोगों का अस्पताल में इलाज चल रहा है।
डाक्टरों का कहना है कि बीमारियां लगातार बढ़ रही हैं। बारिश के साथ मच्छर जनित संक्रामक बीमारी लोगों को अपनी चपेट में ले रही है। शहर और ग्रामीण क्षेत्रों में जगह-जगह भरे पानी के गड्ढों में मच्छरों की भरमार हैं। स्वास्थ्य विभाग का दावा है कि वह मच्छर रोधी दवा का छिड़काव करा रहा है। लेकिन धरातल पर कुछ भी नजर नहीं आ रहा।
